  • FRONT DOUBLE DISC BRAKE SYSTEM FOR CROSS / ENDURO

Innovative front braking system. The double disc system weighs the same as the single disc system, as it uses smaller discs, thus considerably reducing the gyroscopic force acting on the front wheel. It allows braking on dirt roads without danger and facilitates cornering speed.

  • FRONT DOUBLE DISC BRAKE SYSTEM - CROSS / ENDURO

FRONT DOUBLE DISC BRAKE SYSTEM FOR SUPERMOTO System composed of fork legs in hard anodized aluminum with n. 2 discs of 240mm diameter. Construction features 1) Less weight: it is one of the lightest to date in Supermoto. Compared to a common single disc with a diameter of 310mm or 320mm, it saves from 400g to 750g depending on the diameter 2) Equal distribution of weight: the calliper feet have the same weight which is distributed equally on both fork legs. The single disc only loads the left leg Advantages • Better sliding of the leg in the fork • Less bending to the left when braking • Less wear of the left fork bushings, therefore less maintenance interventions 3) Possibility of turning the front wheel: it can be mounted both ways. For example, on a track with many right-hand bends, after a few laps you can turn the wheel without removing the tire Dynamic characteristics 1) Gyroscopic effect: the single disc with a diameter of 310/320mm weighs from 1,150g to 1,600g depending on the diameter, against 900g overall of the 2 discs with a diameter of 240mm. A smaller mass and diameter decrease the forces that tend to straighten the leaning motorcycle and steer the wheel in the direction of the bend. The sensation is that of a lighter, more agile and maneuverable bike when cornering 2) Braking right into the corner: the effects mentioned above favor corner entry, allowing you to delay braking and increase corner entry speed 3) Greater confidence: our double disc is less aggressive and more progressive than the single disc, easier to manage in the wet and on dirt roads. It is possible to block the front wheel in the dirt without the bike breaking down. Conclusion All these advantages lead to an improvement in lap times. In fact, anyone who has used this system has lowered their times, even improving the various personal lap records on Motard tracks.

  • FRONT DOUBLE DISC BRAKE SYSTEM FOR SUPERMOTO

FRONT DOUBLE DISC BRAKE SYSTEM FOR SUPERMOTO. System composed of fork feet in hard anodized aluminum with n. 2 discs of 240mm diameter. The advantages of using the system are: 1°) Less heavy: The brake system is one of the lightest present up to now in Supermoto. Compared to a single disc with a diameter of 310 or 320mm., the double disc system is in terms of weight, 400 to 750 grams lower than the single disc depending on the diameter of the single disc. 2°) The weight of the system is distributed equally: The caliper feet have the same weight which is distributed equally on both fork stems. In the case of the single disc, however, the total weight is loaded only on the left stem. Another big problem is the smoothness of the stem in the fork and its bending to the left when braking. In the Double Disc this does not happen. Not the least of the problems is the excessive wear of the bushings of the left fork, which requires more maintenance interventions on the suspension. 3°) Turning the front wheel: The front wheel can easily be mounted in any direction, therefore on a track with many right-hand bends after a few laps you can turn the wheel without removing the tyre. Dynamic condition: 1°) Gyroscopic force: Considering the gyroscopic force, the single disc system has already lost the factual comparison against physics. The data is striking: The single disc with a diameter of 310/320mm. it weighs from 1,150 to 1,600 grams depending on the diameter. The 2 discs with a diameter of 240mm. they weigh 900 grams in total. Think when you travel at over 100 km/h and you have to corner how much the difference in weight affects. As the speed increases, the grams turn into several kilograms to the detriment of the bike's agility when cornering. 2°) Straightening effect: When cornering, a physical effect occurs which tries to make the bike lift as a result of the rotation weights. In the Double Disc system this happens much less. The bike seems lighter both in setting the curve and in following it to the advantage of driving simplicity. The motorcycle is not carried towards the outside of the curve. 3°) Braking right inside the bend: With the Double Disc you can brake and lean the bike without any effort, therefore you can delay braking and increase corner entry speed. 4°) Braking in difficult conditions: Unlike the powerful and not very progressive single disc, the Double Disc is softer in the braking approach, almost giving the sensation of not stopping, but leaning the bike into a corner you realize that it remains glued on asphalt without any problem. You can brake without fear on dirt roads and wet asphalt. It is possible to block the front wheel in the dirt without the bike breaking down. In conclusion….. All these advantages lead to an improvement in lap times. In fact, anyone who has used this system has lowered their times, even improving the various personal lap records on Motard tracks.
