DOUBLE FRONT DOOR BRAKE SYSTEM FOR SUPERMOTO Anodised aluminum fork stand with n. 2 disks in diameter 240mm. Constructive features 1) Less weight: it is one of the lightest present up to now in Supermoto. Compared to a common monodisc with a diameter of 310mm or 320mm, it saves from 400g to 750g depending on diameter 2) Equal weight distribution: Caliper feet have the same weight that is equally distributed on both fork stems. The monodisco only loads the left stem Advantages • Improved sliding of the stem in the fork • Less left bending left in the stakes • Less wear on the left fork bushes, therefore less maintenance 3) Turning the front wheel: can be mounted In both directions. For example on a track with many curves right after a few turns you can turn the wheel without disassembling the tire Dynamic Features 1) Gyro Effect: The 310 / 320mm diameter monodisc weighs from 1.150g to 1.600g by diameter, against 900g Total of 2 disks with 240mm diameter. A smaller mass and diameter diminish the forces that tend to straighten the fold motion and turn the wheel in the direction of the curve. The advantages of using the system are: 1 °) Less Heavy: The brake system is one of the lightest to date in Supermoto. Compared to a monodisco with a diameter of 310 or 320mm, the double disk system is at a weight level of less than 400 to 750 grams versus monodisc depending on the diameter of the monodisc. 2 °) The weight of the plant is distributed equally: The caliper feet have the same weight that is equally distributed on both fork stems. In the case of monodisc, the total weight is loaded only on the left stem. Another big problem is the sliding of the stem in the fork and its bending towards the sinuses. In the Double Disc, that does not happen.
